Earthmover Tyres (Wakefield) Ltd offer a nationwide fitting service with the addition of a valuable loan tyre service. This service enables us to repair your tyres and minimises down time to your fleet vehicle.
We have dedicated and fully equipped vehicles to handle tyre sizes from 15.5/25 up to 2700/49.
We also can provide a service to supply, fit & repair car/van & commercial tyres as well as industrial tyres through our partners in Yorkshire, namely G W Tyres and Yorkshire Industrial Tyres. We work closely with these companies and can offer a single point of contact here at Earthmover for all your requirements.
At our purpose built premises we have our vulcanised tyre repair facilities where we employ three dedicated Tyre Repair Engineers. All our Repair Engineers are accredited by Michelin/Rema Tip Top, only a hand full of Repair Engineers in the UK have such credentials, this enables us to fully guarantee our earthmover tyre repair work.
Our own fully equipped repair shop with the latest in equipment including our own autoclave, allows our Repair Engineers to have full control over quality and service enabling us to offer a quick turn around on all vulcanised repairs.
Our purpose built premises allow us to have a dedicated tyre filling facility. We can offer tyre filling from the smallest tyres to largest earthmover tyres. We can also offer a unique ‘week-end service’ on most tyre filling applications (collect Friday and return Monday).
TMS sensors are mounted inside each individual tyre and temperature and pressure data is continuously transmitted to a receiver and display unit in the vehicle’s cab. This enables drivers and fleet managers to make sound operational judgements; for example a driver will know if a vehicle with a slow loss of pressure can complete a shift or reach a suitable location for maintenance.
TMS Manager is a PC program designed by our experts to enable you to configure the system, set alarm conditions and monitor results while TMS Log Graph generates visual reports of tyre performance data logs from all vehicles fitted with a TMS.
We can supply all makes of new earthmover tyres from major tyre manufacturers including Michelin, Bridgestone and Goodyear.
We can offer supply on retreaded earthmover tyres stock from our large central warehousing. Our remoulded stock is supplied by Marangoni Pneumatic, one of Europe’s largest specialist earthmover tyre remoulders.
Working with Marangoni we are able to offer, where possible, a ‘casing retreading scheme’; this reduces costs to your fleet and eradicates waste to landfill, which enables a positive approach on commitment to recycling credentials.
We have warehousing with large stocks of earthmover part worn tyres in all sizes and tread depths – enquiries welcome.
